Safeguarding Our Schools

Forum on School Violence (December 2007)

On December 3rd and 4th, 2007, the Educational Security Congress will hold a meeting in New Orleans to discuss school violence.

Working with government employees, teachers, police, and the RAND Corporation employees, the Educational Security Congress will explore the safety issues in our schools today. Participants will look at the psychological issues, the technologies and tools available, preparedness and response, and the lessons learned to date.

This event will unite more than 1000 people for two days of keynote presentations, think tank sessions, workshops, and panel discussions. See the Safeguarding Our Schools agenda.

You can participate in one of two ways - attending the event or watching it on a Webcast.

For more information about registration, fees, and other details, see the Virtus International Web site.

A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the RAND Corporation to help fund a two-year study on the prevention of violence in our schools.
