2007 Microsoft Innovative Teachers Forum
There is growing consensus that good teaching is even better when teachers have collegial support and opportunities for continual reflection, inquiry, problem-solving, and learning. Groups of teachers regularly engaged in this kind of work are the learning communities that make good schools great.
The 2007 Microsoft Innovative Teachers Forum recognizes outstanding examples of learning teams practicing the elements of 21st-century learning in their own professional education and then incorporating these skills into their classrooms. On September 27–28, the forum will bring together K–12 learning teams on the Microsoft Corporate Campus in Redmond, Washington, to share expertise, engage collaboratively with peers, and grow professionally through learning projects.
