Grant Opportunities from Federal Agencies

National Endowment for the Humanities
NEH is a federal agency that supports learning in history, literature, philosophy, and other areas of the humanities. They fund research, education, museum exhibitions, documentaries, preservation, and activities in the states.

National Institutes of Health Grants and Fellowships
Information on NIH's extramural research and training programs including NIH's funding opportunities (with application kits), grant policy, and award data that includes access to the CRISP database.

National Science Foundation
The National Science Foundation is an independent federal agency that promotes the progress of science and engineering. Grants and proposal information can be found on this site.

The Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education
This directory includes information about the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE), a unit within the Office of Postsecondary Education. FIPSE's main activity each year is conducting the Comprehensive Program, a grant program intended to support innovative educational reform projects that can serve as national models for the improvement of postsecondary education.
