- Federal agencies publish proposed and final
regulations to implement U.S. law in the Federal Register. Public comment
on proposals is also often sought through the Federal Register, which
is published daily.

- The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data
System (IPEDS) is a system to collect data from primary institutions
of postsecondary education. IPEDS is designed to collect institutional-level

and financing. Data begins with 1990.

- This Web site provides useful and timely information
about programs, policies, people, and practices that exist at the Department,
in projects they fund at the Department, and elsewhere. The ED WWW server
is a great entry point to information not only at the U.S. Department
of Education but also in much of the education community.

- The U.S. House of Representatives' World Wide
Web service provides public access to legislative information as well
as information about Members, Committees, and Organizations of the House
and to other U.S. government information resources.
