Math Mentoring Using Actuaries in the Teaching
Actuarial Group Awards Grants
The Actuarial Foundation awards Advancing Student Achievement (ASA) Grants to public and private schools that agree to set up a mentoring project that involves actuaries in the teaching of mathematics.
Actuaries do not need to be contacted before the grant is submitted. The foundation will help with securing an actuary to participate in the mentoring program.
There is no deadline for the proposal, but the foundation needs a one- to two-month lead time before the start of the program. For more information, visit http://www.actuarialfoundation.org/grant/index.html
Proposals accepted year-round.
