Minority Resources
American Indian College Fund
The money raised by the American Indian College Fund is used to support student scholarships and other developmental needs at the nation's tribal colleges and universities across the United States. Free registration is required.

Asian and Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund
This new national organization is devoted solely to the financial scholarship needs of Asian and Pacific Islander American students.
Applications are due in March each year.

Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI)

National scholarships include those from the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) as well as others available to all students attending, or planning to attend, any school in the United States. Amount of scholarship awards and application deadlines vary by organization.

League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC)
LULAC offers two types of scholarships:
National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP)
NAACP provides links to numerous scholarship sites. Amount of scholarship awards and application deadlines vary by organization.

National Association for Asian and Pacific American Education (NAAPE)
NAAPAE has established a scholarship fund with the donations from the National Education Association and the Southern California Edison Company. High school seniors and college juniors and seniors may participate in the scholarship program.
Applications are due each January 31.

The National Council of La Raza (NCLR)

NEA, the National Hispanic Press Foundation, & Others: Scholarships for Hispanics
This scholarship site links to more than 1,000 sources of college financial aid at the Hispanic Scholarship Directory Web site and includes college application guidelines and a scholarship database searchable by state, college, and field of interest. Free registration is required.

National Urban League (NUL)
The National Urban League Scholarship Program offers college scholarships to help deserving African-American students attend some of our country's most influential and challenging institutions.

The OCA manages four scholarships:

Gates Millennium Scholars for higher education scholarships for minority student leaders

Avon Foundation scholarship to fund college scholarships for Asian Pacific American (APA) women who will be entering their first year of college

United Parcel Service Gold Mountain Scholarship, which focuses on APAs who are the first in their family to attend college

United South and Eastern Tribes, Inc. (USET), a non-profit, inter-tribal organization that collectively represents its member tribes at the regional and national level, has a scholarship fund.
