Interested in learning more about Abraham Lincoln this summer?
Consider applying for a Horace Mann-Abraham Lincoln Fellowship. In this program, educators study the life and legacy of America's 16th president. Horace Mann Corporation and Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum (ALPLM) have partnered to create the fellowship, which features a five-day institute at the library in June and July, 2007. (Half of the winners will attend the June session, the other half will attend in July.)
Who is eligible to apply? The Fellowship is open to any full-time teacher of Kindergarten through 12th grade of any discipline in the United.States. Fifty educators—one from each state—will be chosen. The Fellowship includes round-trip transportation, lodging, and most meals.
Applications are due by February 28, 2007 and must be submitted online.
