Interested in learning more about Abraham Lincoln this summer?
Consider applying for a Horace Mann-Abraham Lincoln Fellowship. In this program, educators study the life and legacy of America's 16th president. The Fellowship is open to any full-time teacher of Kindergarten through 12th grade of any discipline in the U.S. The Fellowship features a five-day Institute in June and July 2009 at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum (ALPLM) in Springfield, Illinois, and it includes round-trip transportation, lodging, and most meals.
Fifty educators—one from each state—will be chosen. Winning Fellows will attend the Institute during the following dates:
- June 21-27, 2009 (25 Fellows)
- July 12-18, 2009 (25 Fellows)
