Target Field Trip Grants

Take Learning Beyond the Building

Nostalgic for field trips? Target is, too. Target will award 5,000 field trip grants of up to $800 each during the 2008-09 school year. Educators can choose their own field trip and use the grants to cover transportation costs, entry fees, and supplies and resource materials.

Grants are open to school staff employed by a K–12 public, private, or charter school in the United States. Criteria for selection include:

• description of the field trip and its objectives
• benefits to students
• tie-in to the school curriculum
• number of students who will be impacted
• proposed use of funds.

Registration and applications will be available at www.target.com/teachers beginning September 2, 2008. The deadline to apply is November 1, 2008.
