Best Buy Teach Award Program

Expand or Enhance Existing School Technology

Best Buy believes that technology can excite and engage students, creating a more valuable educational experience. Since 2004, the Best Buy Teach Award program has awarded nearly $17 million to more than 6,000 K–12 schools in the form of gift cards that schools can use to purchase additional technology to expand or enhance current programs.

Awards range from $1,000 to $5,000 based on specific school needs, as well as $10,000 for up to 15 ninth-grade programs. K–12 public, private, magnet, charter, and parochial schools located in the United States or Puerto Rico are eligible. Winners demonstrate that their students use technology in interactive and engaging ways.
