NEA Bulletin—Forerunner of NEA Today
1913 brought the birth of the NEA Bulletin—forerunner of the NEA Journal, and later, NEA Today. Finally, NEA had a professional journal, a vehicle through which all members and a larger public audience could learn of NEA's vision for public education. The 1914 Convention went on record reaffirming a commitment to equality: "The Association...declares itself in favor of the political equality of the sexes and equal pay for equal services."
